Wines from Italy

Italy is home to some of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world and is the world's second largest wine producer behind France.Italian wine is exported around the world and is also extremely popular in Italy: Italians rank fifth on the world wine consumption list by volume with 42 litres per capita consumption. Grapes are grown in almost every region of the country and there are more than one million vineyards under cultivation.

Etruscans and Greek settlers produced wine in Italy before the Romans started their own vineyards in the 2nd century BC. Roman grape-growing and winemaking was prolific and well-organized, pioneering large-scale production and storage techniques like barrel-making and bottling

Santero Moscatos

Interbalt ProductsPassion, quality, and experience: these are the guidelines, which distinguish the long history of Santero founded at the beginning of 1958 and consolidated by the Santero brothers. Located in the heart of a wine-growing region, immersed in the splendid Monferrato hills. A history is stretching half a century, marked by the passion for the vineyard, expert management of the wine cellar and the love for wine and sparkling wine. Santero Moscato Rose is a delicately sweet sparkling wine with fruity notes and a fragrant bouquet.

Santero Moscato Rose is crafted with two different grape types: Moscato and Moscato Rosa. The best Moscato grapes in the world are grown in Piedmonte and can be found throughout the region. However, Moscato Rosa, which imports the beautiful medium-salmon color, is quite rare. This wine’s uniqueness comes from its intense, concentrated aromas, flavors, natural sweetness, low alcohol, and natural carbonation.

Besides Moscato Rose, Santero Collection includes Santero Moscato Spumante, Santero Moscato D'Asti, Santero Fragolino, Santero Asti and Santero Prosecco.
