This unique wine is made under the meticulous supervision of the nuns from the Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe, a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex built in the 4th century and located near Sighnaghi Kakheti. Bodbe is presently one of Georgia’s most important pilgrimage sites due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Sacred Monastery of Saint Nina in Maryland.
